Grandmas and Aunts

Isaac had quite a few visitors come during the past week. Ben's mom, Ben's Aunt Gail and Uncle Doran, my Mom and Walter and my Sister all came to see Isaac and we had a great time. Lots of great food was made for us, which we really appreciate and when Ben went back to work, I got some good help. Isaac is doing great and has regained his birth weight. He now weighs 8 lbs 8.5 oz and is 20.25 inches. He is sleeping pretty well and eating well too. He is very alert during his awake times and loves his vibrating chair.

Day 4. Things are going well with our new little treasure. We're thankful for all the support and food that our friends and families have given us. Isaac is bringing us so much joy and we continue to be amazed and delighted by him.

Hi everyone,
Our son Isaac McCarten Doane has finally arrived!! We are so thrilled about him.
We went into the hospital to start inducing labor on tuesday night. And after a lot of hard work and emotions, Isaac was born on Thursday, June 4, 2009 at 12:56am. He was 8 pounds 7 oz at birth and was 19.75 inches long. He is a big guy, much bigger than we or the doctor's predicted. We were released from the hospital last night, and are really happy to be home. I'll write more later, but for now, here are some shots from his first 3 days.
